Sewing

Here's a shot of a fat quarter jacket I am going to attempt to make tonite. It requires 8 fat and 3 1/4 yards of coordinating material. This will be my first attempt at sewing a piece of clothing. I will keep you updated on weather this is for me or not. Tonite will be the first class. Progress pics tomorrow!

Longarm

Now for my longarm happenings. 2nd pic is my Metro Blue "huge" quilt. It was so busy I used an allover "froth and bubble" pattern. Hard to see the pattern because of the fabrics.

First quilt is what I am working on now. It is a quilt I pieced for my 7 year old niece. This is actually the second quilt like this I have done. Once the younger niece got her "grown up" bed she wanted one just like her sister.

Definate custom quilting. Will show more pics when completed.

Well off to some more longarming.

Introduction

Ok....I guess I started this blog and now have to use it. I will post mostly on quilting and some personal happenings.

Current quilt projects.........hmmmm lets see. I better get a list. I am working currently on a Ocean Waves quilt designed by Bonnie Hunter and the Halloween 1904 by Blackbird Design.

I think also I need to join Stash Busters. I am going to move into a new home in the next 2 months and am afraid of what I will find. It will be a good time to really "see" what I have.

Gee......when I go into all the quiltshops I do really have a good intention of really using that 50% off fabric.....:)

Heres a pic of the ocean waves quilt from Bonnie Hunters Quiltville site. I am doing mine scrappy civil war with a solid Kona cinnamon border and center block. Crazy right? I will take a pic of mine when I start assembling the blocks.

Going on a quilt retreat in two weeks and hope to have the main body completed.

My second project shown above Halloween 1904. Love the look of this quilt. I used more tan's for the background then is shown here. Will take a couple pics of my blocks to show.
